Thanks Mary. This sounds like a good machine for the clinic for a couple of reasons. Consumable cost is low, all things considered. They already have a B&W duplex laser printer but they need a color printer to replace an ancient inkjet MF that jams. The B&W will get the majority of traffic, of course, but there's often a need for a color print.

Mike,
From the articles I read, the printer is even easier to install for Windows XP/Vista than for Windows 7. Basically the installation for Windows XP should go as for Vista. So the printer installation CD should work as expected. Of course, my instructions will work when the CD does not.
I do not have personal experience installing this particular printer on an XP box. But vast experience installing printers on multiple platforms. Previous versions of Windows OS are covered by current driver software.

Looks like the USB installation should be the same as you describe for Win 7 for an XP box. Our installation of a Lexmark C540dw will be used in a free medical clinic that has an XP box. Have you any knowledge about using this printer with an XP machine?
Thank you,
Mike

I have not encountered this. The network shared key should only be used at the point where you are teaching the printer to connect wirelessly, never on a website (vendor or otherwise). I recommend uninstalling the printer completely, attempt to download the drivers without the printer connected to your computer. Then install the printer.

Any idea why i need to give lexmark my network shared key BEFORE i can download drivers? I know chances are slim, but that's something i'm just not sharing with them. Any way around it?

A few of these would be the LeapPad, Tag, Didj, ClickStart and iQuest and Leapster Explorer Coupons. Every one of the toys that Leapfrog developed centered on 3 key locations of finding out: educational gaming, studying remedies and learning toys.

$10 million is nothing to the big financeers of Boston. It's not Wall Street that is supporting Romney. It's State Street (Boston). They supported his governorship in the state of Tax-achusetts as well. Though money will buy candidates *some* votes, ultimately it's the ballot box that counts.
Too early to really tell but I think Ron Paul will win New Hampshire. After that, who knows...
